Markus Spillner, better known by his stage name DRUMATIX, is a seasoned electronic musician hailing from Germany. Born in the 1970s, he spent his formative years in the 80s and 90s, where he witnessed the rapid evolution of electronic music. As a teenager, he became fascinated with the emerging drumcomputer and synthesizer technology, which would eventually shape his musical career.

His passion for electronic music led him to pursue a course in audio engineering at the SAE School of Audio Engineering. After completing his studies, he landed his first record deals, including one in San Francisco, and released his debut album, "Balanced".

DRUMATIX has continued to release numerous tracks and remixes featured on various compilations, showcasing their distinctive style that seamlessly blends techno, house, and electro elements. His music is heavily influenced by his love of drum sounds, which is reflected in his name.
